This exclusive club has been designed to reward travel agencies that demonstrate their loyalty and support with outstanding sales performance. GrandLuxe Rail Journeys’, (formerly American Orient Express) success comes from your support, and the introduction of Club Elite is our recognition of you. As a member of Club Elite, you will be eligible for exclusive sales awards and special offers, free marketing support, in-house training, free fam trips and a commission overide program that pays you more!

Three Membership Levels
|
|
|
Platinum Member - $200,000 sales completed in the calendar year
|
|
|
Gold Member - $100,000 sales completed in the calendar year
|
|
|
Silver member - $50,000 sales completed in the calendar year
|
|
|
|
|
Three Reward Levels
|
|
|
A 3% override is awarded to Platinum Members for rail package tour sales completed in the calendar year.
|
|
|
A 2% override is awarded to Gold Members for rail package tour sales completed in the calendar year.
|
|
|
A 1% override is awarded to Silver Members for rail package tour sales completed in the calendar year.
|
|
Overrides are above the current commission percentage level that each agent is currently receiving from GrandLuxe Rail Journeys.

|
|
|
Determining Your Membership Levels
|
|
|
Total sales completed in the calendar year January 1 through December 31
|
|
|
Sales totals apply to rail package tours only and do not include: add-on airline sales, insurance sales, optional tour sales, pre-post tour sales, onboard merchandise sales, etc.
|
|
|
Sales of bookings where trips are completed within that calendar year.
|
|
|
Sales figures are based on the full invoice amount by GrandLuxe Rail Journeys after any/all applicable discounts.
|
|
|
Deposits on future sales are not factored in to the total, and therefore, apply to the calendar year in which passengers travel.
|
|
|
|
|
Reporting and Payment of Reward
|
|
|
Agency will receive a quarterly report (April, June, October, December) to show where their individual sales production is for that specific calendar year.
|
|
|
Payment of override will be made based on total sales at the end of the 4th quarter and will be based on that total sales amount over the course of the applicable 4th quarter.
|
|
|
Payment will be made to the agency in January of the following calendar year, after the sales review for all four quarters is completed.
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|

Marketing Benefits for Club Elite Members
|
|
|
Two free direct mail marketing campaigns targeted at a focused list of past travelers and top prospects (paid in full by GrandLuxe Rail Journeys). Mailing size is based on a maximum of 500 addresses. Agency must gain approval from the marketing department for larger mailing quantities.

|
|
GrandLuxe Rail Journeys will conduct a survey of agency’s past-travelers to further identify top prospects for deluxe rail vacations and future direct mail campaigns (data results will at all times remain confidential and the sole property of the agency).
|
|
|
Preferred agencies will have first access to special GrandLuxe Rail Journeys offers and industry discounts.
|
|
|
|
|
Sales Assistance and Training
|
|
|
Members will receive full training session from GrandLuxe Rail Journeys' Regional Sales Manager.
|
|
|
GrandLuxe Rail Journeys Regional Sales Manager will conduct a client night presentation for the agency.
|
|
|
Agency will receive a GrandLuxe Rail Journeys training manual as an in-agency reference.
|
|
|
Full set of sales material will be provided to the agency.
|
|
|
Each year an exclusive educational trip will be offered for agencies staff that actively sell GrandLuxe Rail Journeys.
|
|
|
Agents will have first option to partake in industry FAM trips which are often limited to small group sizes.
|
|
|
|
|
Benefits to Your Clients
|
|
|
Clients will receive a $25 onboard credit on behalf of your agency for liquor and gift purchases aboard the GrandLuxe Train.
|
|
|
A gift will be present in the cabins of the passengers with a welcome card from your agency.
|
|
|
|
|
Advisory Board
|
|
|
Four members from the club will be invited by GrandLuxe Rail Journeys to act as advisors for the term of two years.
|
|
|
Advisory board members will meet once per year on the train to discuss market strategies, product development, customer service standards and other topics of importance with GrandLuxe Rail Journeys management.
|
|
|
Advisory board input will be reviewed and considered in decisions, strategies and standards used in GrandLuxe Rail Journeys' business plan.
